I am trying to learn more about my ancestors and especially those from each branch of my family who first immigrated to Aotearoa New Zealand.
I’d love to know under what conditions they left, the push they encouraged them to leave Great Britian and Ireland, and the pull factors that made them select New Zealand as their new home.
With this in mind, I’m developing a series of blog posts on those family members who left for New Zealand.
